Dr Rashmi Ajjavara is a Consultant Geriatrician with extensive experience in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to older adults across acute, subacute, community, and residential aged care settings.

She specialises in the holistic assessment and management of complex medical conditions commonly seen in older people, including dementia and cognitive disorders, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, falls, frailty, mobility issues, polypharmacy, and chronic disease management. Dr Ajjavara strongly believes in a person-centred approach, working closely with patients, families, general practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams to support independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Dr Ajjavara has a special interest in comprehensive geriatric assessment, Parkinson’s disease diagnosis and management, advance care planning, capacity assessments, and optimising care for older adults living in the community and residential aged care facilities.
