Dr Prasanth Sivasankar

Dr Prasanth Sivasankar’s medical training was completed at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Mangalore, India in 2005. He completed his Masters in Public Health at Deakin University in Melbourne in 2009 after which he worked for Western Health in the Melbourne region before moving to Mt Isa in 2010.

Dr Sivasankar was employed at the Cairns Hospital as a Medical Registrar between 2012 and 2019 where he was involved in managing complex acute and chronic medical conditions in Emergency and the inpatient wards. He also has experience in Diabetes management, Endocrine, Geriatric medicine and Palliative care medicine.
