Dr Lata Mantha

Dr Lata Mantha  is a vocationally trained GP with extensive clinical experience in metro, regional and rural hospitals across Australia.

In addition to her role in general practice for over 15 years in Cairns,  Dr Mantha has a special interest in Medical Education, and has been working for over 10 years as Director of Clinical Training in the Pre-Vocational Medical Education Unit at Cairns Hospital, facilitating junior doctor education and training.

She is passionate about providing holistic care to her patients and has cut back from her 2+ years of full-time work commitment at the Cairns Hospital, to enable extending clinic hours at Cairns Doctor’s at Barr St.

Her other interests include exploring new places, music and reading and is looking forward to pursuing her interest in  photography, art and yoga.
