Dr Alice Tai

Dr Alice Tai will be joining Cairns Doctors on Barr St from 22 July 2024.

Alice completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Canada before moving down under in 2017 to study medicine at the University of Queensland. She graduated in 2020, going on to work at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for 3 years, gaining experience in a variety of specialties including acute medicine, rehabilitation, and obstetrics and gynaecology. Alice moved up to Cairns in November 2023 and further advanced her knowledge and skills in women’s health by undertaking a Certificate in Women’s Health and working for 6 months at Birds of Paradise Women’s Health Clinic.

Alice enjoys getting to know her patients and learning what is important to them in their life and health journey.

In her spare time, Alice spends time with her cockatiels and tries cooking with new recipes. She looks forward to exploring the natural environments of Cairns and Far North Queensland!
