Appointments

To book an appointment with Dr Thompson Gana, referrals from your GP is preferred, but not required.
Your first initial consult with Dr Thompson Gana will take up to 30 minutes for the initial consultation allowing him the time to deep dive into your medical history, to ensure the most appropriate plant-based product is prescribed.

Dr Thompson Gana can prescribe plant-based treatments for conditions approved by the TGA.

Telephone Consultations

Telephone Consultations are available for review appointments only. Please note that if you require an initial consultation as a Telehealth, it will be a private fee and you will not receive a rebate from Medicare. Video Consultations are not available.

 

Consultation Fees

Dr Thompson Gana is a private billing practitioner. Medicare rebates are available to those who are eligible.

 

SMS reminders

The Green Leaf Clinic will send SMS appointment reminders 72 hours prior to your appointment time. This service is a courtesy only and not receiving an SMS reminder is not a valid reason to miss the appointment. It is the patient’s responsibility to be aware of their appointment details, and to arrive on time or reschedule with sufficient notice.  Dr Thompson Gana has a 48hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must give the clinic 48 hours notice.

 

DNA Fees “Did Not Attend”

Dr Thompson Gana will charge patients DNA fees for an appointment that is not attended or not cancelled outside 48 hours of the appointment time. Patients who incur fees will be responsible for these fees. You
