I was drawn to women’s health care from my first exposure late in my medical degree and since then, I have been passionate about helping women retain and return to health through pregnancies and other health challenges specific to women. I enjoy the diversity of all aspects of general gynaecology including postmenopausal and perimenopausal bleeding issues, contraceptive advice, assistance with menopausal symptom management and cervical screening follow-up issues, amongst others.

I am especially interested in helping women who are experiencing persisting pelvic pain. Providing empathetic, evidence-based care, I always strive to provide a high level of personalised support for women through their health journey.

In addition to my clinical role, I am passionate about medical education and work with James Cook University in the capacity as Senior Lecturer at the clinical school based in Cairns.

Born in Atherton, Queensland, I have spent most of my life in North Queensland and love the tropical lifestyle and community of Cairns. My husband, three children and two hounds keep me busy. I love being outdoors in the garden, walking, playing tennis, swimming, spending time with friends and family and cooking up a feast.
